A leading retailer wanted to enhance and grow its entire Cyber Security team in a short space of time. Currently a team of 150 people, NDK was the only selected recruitment agency to assist in leading this huge upscale focusing on niche skillsets such as Digital Forensics, Incident Response and DLP SME.



Our In-house product was the most appropriate at it allowed NDK Cyber to take over their internal talent function completely onsite with us. This eliminated an internal recruiter salary and additional hiring costs.

PROBLEM

This programme demanded candidates to have a combination of incredibly niche cyber skill sets, in a location outside of London.

SOLUTION

Our first port-of-call was to tackle the location issue, therefore, we mapped out every business that has a Cyber Security function within a 5-mile radius of the location. We also used a complex algorithm to identify individuals who were commuting to London from this location, which gave us incredibly valuable data that is a strong sell for that candidate.


Once we had our talent pool of proprietary, passive talent identified we then confidently went to market. Each of our experts in-house was given a role to focus on dependent on their experience and market intelligence. This allowed focus, no overlapping and because of our in-depth pre-screen process consultants were able to identify talent that could be cross-trained within the retail business.


Our candidate packs for each role were then presented to the client. This included a ‘candidate profile’ PDF, a job description and a visual job description created in house by our marketing department.



We then consulted, interview prepped and managed the whole interview process of candidates who were taken to the first, second and final stage until offers were made.
