Due to a successful three years being one of London’s leading media company’s top recruitment provider, they requested a niche headhunting campaign to grow their cyber security function with several critical key hires.

THE
PROBLEM

The candidates would have the task of fulfilling several roles across the whole cybersecurity team, therefore it was vital for them to fit the culture as well as possessing the skills of all cybersecurity areas including Security Architecture, Application Security, Security Operations. These are skill sets that are currently the most in-demand in Cyber Security Recruitment.

THE
SOLUTION

Exerting our critical key hire product service, we first worked directly with the head of talent to generate an in-depth, detailed, and realistic brief together.

Being retained to find critical key hires meant we first used our developers to create a complex algorithm that grouped niche skillsets within Security Architecture and beyond into a bespoke talent pool. We then strengthened this by delving into our own network generating referrals for the elite teams in competing companies, ensuring our talent pipeline was grade A only.

Our experts passively headhunted the longlist of candidates, video pre-screening the individuals who fit both skillset requirements, industry experience and cultural fit. The successful individuals were then presented in a shortlist to the Head of Talent each with a candidate profile pack created by us. This covered transferable skills, CV, personality tests, video interview and overall bio.

Once the offer was made to the successful candidates and accepted, using our experience we created a bespoke onboarding programme for their first two months.

THE
RESULTS

NDK filled 100% of the roles and all candidates that we successfully introduced to the business also passed the rebate period.

Using our Critical Key Hire product meant that the business saved a significant amount of time, which simultaneously saved money. On average a recruitment process takes 10 hours per candidate, including agency briefing, agency feedback, phone interviews, physical interviews and negotiating offer. Working with us exclusively meant instead of 20-50 mediocre candidates presented by 10 different agencies for each role, 5 grade A candidates were presented for each role, 3 of which went to the final stage interview.
