Cloud Security Sales Engineer (AWS), US, Remote, $250k Summary The Cloud Security Sales Engineer (AWS) is responsible for leading technical sales activities along with Sales Representatives, Sales Engineers and Partners in net-new and upsell opportunities. The architect will utilize previous DevOps experience and expertise in the AWS ecosystem to lead sales opportunities focused on securing cloud infrastructure. The Cloud Security Sales Engineer (AWS) will primarily support your region but may engage with teams in other global locations. You will position the business value of the Cloud platform to technical and C-level executives and own the outcome of sales opportunities with relevant products. The goals of this role will include developing sales pipeline by providing ecosystem expertise to sales teams, building strong business justification that aligns to the customers’ business value, and ensuring growth in the adoption of the Cloud product suite across the account teams. Responsibilities · Understand customer requirements and ensure successful integration of Cloud solutions into the customers’ environment. · Deliver sales presentations, present and technical information about Cloud products and services, and conduct in-depth?product demonstrations. · Manage all phases of product evaluations, engage in pipeline generating activity such as presenting at seminars or webinars, ensure product alignment in responding to RFP’s and RFI’s, and provide strategic feedback to product development teams. · Create and provide product and business value enablement training for sales, SEs, and partners. · Ability to work independentlyand team collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. · Ability to articulate the importance of Cloud Security Analytics and Threat Detection and evangelize Cloud as the leader in the market to end-users of all levels. Requirements · Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent from a four-year College or Technical School AND 3-5 years of experience in a customer facing role OR equivalent combination or education and experience. · Strong written, oral, and presentation skills. · Ability to discuss highly technical concepts to all audiences, ranging from non-technical to executive level decision makers. · Experience administrating AWS accounts, deploying via CloudFormation or Terraform, and working in a DevOps environment. · Extensive knowledge of the AWS ecosystem, native capabilities, and ISVs. · Exposure to administration of Cloud applications including: Box, GitHub, Okta, Zoom, Jira, Slack. · Exposure to security hardware and software.
