The Director of Cloud Security Architecture is a senior leadership role responsible for driving technical sales strategies, managing a global team of Cloud Security Architects, and working cross-functionally with the sales, product, and engineering teams to deliver best-in-class cloud solutions. This position is key to building and maintaining relationships with enterprise clients and ensuring the successful integration of cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure) that meet customer needs. The role will support complex cloud security architectures, driving adoption, growth, and technical success across the client portfolio.

Leadership and Team Management
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Cloud Security Architects, ensuring alignment with company goals and cloud expertise.

Develop and implement training programs to ensure technical teams are proficient in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and can meet sales objectives.

Foster a high-performance and collaborative culture within the team, promoting innovation and professional development.

Sales Strategy and Execution
Collaborate with sales leadership to create and execute cloud sales strategies that drive revenue growth and client satisfaction.

Assist in qualifying cloud sales opportunities, ensuring the technical team is engaged in high-value sales processes.

Own technical engagement in sales opportunities, providing architecture design, security assessments, and detailed cloud solution proposals.

Technical Expertise and Solution Design
Design and oversee the architecture of secure, scalable, and efficient cloud solutions across public, private, and hybrid environments, with a strong focus on security and DevOps practices.

Translate customer requirements into actionable technical solutions, providing expert guidance across cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).

Ensure technical alignment with product offerings, managing product evaluations, technical presentations, and demonstrations to drive cloud solution adoption.

Customer Engagement and Relationship Building
Serve as the primary technical point of contact for high-value clients, building trust and guiding them through cloud migrations and optimizations.

Lead strategic technical discussions with C-level executives, ensuring cloud solutions align with their business objectives.

Manage client feedback loops to refine and improve cloud offerings and drive long-term customer success.

Collaboration with Internal Teams
Work closely with product development, cloud operations, and engineering teams to deliver solutions that meet evolving customer requirements.

Provide actionable insights from client engagements to shape future product roadmaps and technical service offerings.

Cloud Security Focus
Advocate and implement cloud security best practices, focusing on securing infrastructure through native cloud services and third-party tools (e.g., CloudFormation, Terraform, Box, GitHub, Okta).

Present the importance of cloud security solutions, such as analytics and threat detection, to clients at all levels of the organization.
