Database Security SME, $230k OTE

We’re hiring for a rapidly growing leader in cloud and data security for a skilled and customer-focused Database Security Subject Matter Expert (SME).

In this role, you’ll act as a trusted technical advisor to customers and partners, helping them secure complex database environments across cloud and hybrid infrastructures. You'll bridge technical depth with strategic insight, guiding organizations through database security best practices, integrations, and risk mitigation.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with sales teams, partners, and technical stakeholders to understand customer environments and position database-integrated security solutions.
• Deliver engaging product presentations and technical demos that showcase the value of our DSPM platform.
• Lead technical evaluations, support RFP/RFI processes, and contribute to pipeline growth through webinars and events.
• Create and deliver training sessions for internal teams, engineers, and strategic partners.
• Collaborate across departments while also independently driving key initiatives forward.

What You Bring

• 3–5 years of experience in a customer-facing technical or security-focused role, ideally with an emphasis on database security.
• Hands-on expertise in securing database integrations and aligning controls with industry standards and compliance frameworks.
• Outstanding communication skills, including the ability to present complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience with security hardware/software is a plus.
